On this list you find portals where you pay a member fee to see the contact info for the landlord. I cannot guarantee the quality of the individual portal. Before you pay you should search Google for recommendations or check TrustPilot. The biggest and most popular portal is Boligportal, but note that there is far more demand for homes than there's homes listed, so I recommend that you make an ad with a description of you and your needs - remember to include a photo. Housing associations are organizations that provide low-cost homes. In Aarhus, Denmark you only need to look one place for a low cost home from Housing Associations in the city because they have formed a portal where you pay a small fee to be added on the waiting list. The waiting list is extremely long for some of the apartments and homes - especially in the city center where the Housing Associations offer beautiful and spacious apartments at low cost. Other areas are not as attractive for the masses so you can be lucky to get a home right away in these areas. If you are willing to compromise location for a couple of years you can get priority treatment once you're ready to move and might actually be offered a home in a prime location.
